Public bug reported:
When in Nautilus, trying to open (double-clicking) any file associated
with LibreOffice generates this error:
"Access to /home/MyName/.LevelOne/Reports/2020-01-01_Report.xls File
.xls was denied."
The same behavior happens if you already have a Libre app (Calc, Writer,
etc.) running, and try to use the Open file dialog. This occurs even
though Tools-> Options-> General-> "Use Libre Dialogs" is unchecked.
(Also, of course, Nautilus Show Hidden Files option on.)
All file/dir owner:group permissions were checked and are user level
(not owned by root:root).
Renaming all directories in the file path to remove the leading dot (.)
allows the files to open normally and Libre works as expected.
(Unfortunately, there about 175 files/directories I'm working on.)
LibreOffice was installed through official Ubuntu Software Store - Canonical
(LibreOffice Snap Store (6.4.0.3; 2/10/2020).
