Walter, I used the i386 box for testing Lubuntu until all (lubu) testing
was done, then used it for some i386 Xubuntu .. then some i386 Kubuntu.
When I booted it for 'openbox' testing I'd forgotten Lubuntu wasn't
there anymore  (and installing lubuntu-desktop was quicker than a re-

On dx6120mt I booted the 18.04.4 live media  (last RC), logged out of 
LXDE/Lubuntu, then into Openbox... I could NOT re-create issue here !!

A clean install of Lubuntu 18.04.4 LTS was just done on dx6120, and as
Walter expected; logging into 'Openbox' I could NOT re-create the issue;
same box that has kubuntu+lubuntu on.

(Kubuntu+Lubuntu is in different partition.. I'll continue playing/exploring 
(but not today))

I tested on installed Lubuntu 18.04 on
- dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
no re-creation of this issue.
I couldn't re-create this on
- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
- hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
using 20.04 'live' (today's daily)
