You can try the linux-firmware package from upcoming focal: https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/linux-firmware
Because of this bug I am currently running 19.10 with latest 5.5 kernel from mainline ppa: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ With 5.5 the number of my problems was significantly reduced and suspend seems to work, too. The 5.5 kernel works with VirtualBox 6.1.2 and zfsonlinux 0.8.3 For example, to try out 5.5.4 you may need the following packages: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.5.4/linux-headers-5.5.4-050504_5.5.4-050504.202002150446_all.deb https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.5.4/linux-headers-5.5.4-050504-generic_5.5.4-050504.202002150446_amd64.deb https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.5.4/linux-image-unsigned-5.5.4-050504-generic_5.5.4-050504.202002150446_amd64.deb https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.5.4/linux-modules-5.5.4-050504-generic_5.5.4-050504.202002150446_amd64.deb -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838176 Title: Kernel 5.2.3 fails to fully boot on Lenovo 330s-15arr, black screen at login screen with cursor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1838176/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
