The original reporter had sent his initial report to the ubuntu-users
mailing list (I only forwarded it), and never subscribed to this report
on Launchpad, even after he was invited to do so. So he cannot answers
these questions. Since that make impossible the task of solving his
problem, and it seems nobody else is confirming this bug after 3 months,
I'll mark it as rejected.
