Leó (and anyone else watching) since you're not on our Phabricator I couldn't tag you in but upstream believes the issue to be the way we call Calamares. I'm skeptical but you can test as described there (https://phab.lubuntu.me/T150#3176) or simply by just running `sudo calamares -E` (although the links on the welcome screen should not work if you call it that way). If you can test either of those, it would be greatly appreciated.
