Public bug reported:
When upgrading to Gutsy Gibbon, the default kernel from menu.lst is:
vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-386
When I boot with this kernel, the network interface on my Dell Inspiron
530 is not recognised.
booting from the generic kernel fixes the problem:
vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
This is the lspci output concerning my network interface:
00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82562V-2 10/100 Network
Connection (rev 02)
Thanks!
