Public bug reported:
The keyboard layout is changing to "en" in some applications.
I am using UBUNTU 18.04 and the system keyboard layout is "Português (Brasil)"
Three months ago i realized that in some applications the keyboard was working
as if it were english.
Looking in the internet for this problem i found that using the following
command fix the problem:
gsettings reset org.gnome.desktop.input-sources xkb-options
But the problem happens again some time later.
I cant find what is trigering the problem.
The problem only manifest in some applications. Ex: Remmina, Chromiun
I was able to find other old bugs related to this same problem.
