Re-run on same d755-5 box (only box to have this issue so far) Attempt to re-install Lubuntu 20.04 daily over prior Lubuntu 20.04 image.
sda8 is /home for prior install; is being re-used with NO-FORMAT. sda9 was / and it'll be re-formatted. I firstly ran QA-test install and got error 1864787. Any notes will be on iso.qa and in on other bug report. I then exited calamares but did NOT reboot I opened KDE Partition to ensure no partitions were mounted; I noted that sda9 now showed as UNKNOWN type (as it had before; this bug will now occur). No partitions (inc. swap) were mounted so nothing was done in KDE Partition Manager and I exited Loaded calamares for install, selected sda8 for re-use (/home) and sda9 for / format ext4 .. and this error again. I just remembered I was to use `calamares -d`; sorry I forgot ** Attachment added: "~/.cache/calamares/session.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1864791/+attachment/5332864/+files/session.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1864791 Title: Lubuntu failed install "wipefs --all /dev/sda9" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1864791/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
