Lionel : I updated the bug description, we are shipping gnome-
screensaver but it seems it doesn't start by default on startup. In
Ubuntu there is an entry in System > Preferences > Session > Startup
programs for gnome-screensaver which starts it on session startup. I
think we should do the same thing in Xubuntu.

  I've added a "Lock" type button from the "Action Buttons", but clicking
  the "Lock screen" button does nothing.

+ 1) Pull down the Applications menu.
+ 2) Select the Settings menu.
+ 3) Click on Autostarted Applications.
+ 4) Chose Add.
+ 5) Give it the name GNOME Screensaver.
+ 6) Enter the description So we can lock the screen.
+ 7) Provide gnome-screensaver as the command.
+ 8) Click OK.
+ 9) Select Close.
+ 10) Now logout and back in.
