Public bug reported:
reproduction:
$ git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-bionic.git
$ cd ubuntu-bionic
$ git checkout Ubuntu-hwe-5.3.0-42.34_18.04.1
$ fakeroot make-kpkg --initrd kernel-image kernel-headers --append-to-
version -custom-0.1 -j 12
but the actual built package version is *5.3.18+* and not *5.3.0-42* ..
Is there an up2date document on how to correctly custom ubuntu kernel ? thoses
that exist actually are at least confusing and possibly deprecated..
Thanks for any help.
