Hi Guimenez, thanks for your report. Your idea makes sense, yeah, especially when we note that's how it works in Windows, IIRC.
But in GNOME, that feature's idea is a bit different. By design, that menu should work only for sending files to someone else. This is the package's description: "The Nautilus Send To plugin provides the Nautilus file manager with a context menu component for quickly sending files to accounts in an Evolution email address book, contacts on a Pidgin instant messaging list, or through Claws Mail (formerly Sylpheed Claws)." Currently, people already know that this feature is used to send files to their contacts and it's probably all we want there. In any case, this seems like a "upstream wishlist" bug. ** Changed in: nautilus-sendto (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None => nautilus-sendto -- more button right menu options https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163752 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
