Since this bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 151311, see if my
solution/work-around for 151311 helps. Note that if you are using a
laptop screen, and xrandr reports other "connected" monitors, you
propably want to ignore the other monitors in xorg.conf, and not LVDS,
as in the the example....
