The 1MB reference in the document is not for the (U)EFI System Partition
(ESP).

The 1MB reference is for special grub2 PC-BIOS / SEABIOS boot, and is
unused by grub2 EFI boot.

ESP size is large, and that page documents it as 100~250MB, most of the
time, it reuses existing one which is preconfigured by OEM/Vendor.

If there are no ESP available we do create something (in partman syntax)
538 538 1075, meaning it usually is about 538M but sometimes can be up
to 1075.

Overall, i think the documentation is correct.
