Public bug reported: what-is-python ships python2 & python3 packages, one is deprecated from the onset and the other one is optional.
I wish to push what-is-python into main, and split-publish python3 one into main, and python2 into universe. This gives a better indication to end users which one they should use, if they must. Also, I want only core-devs to be allowed to upload it, as it is a sensitive package which will be installed on many upgraded systems. ** Affects: what-is-python (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: focal ** Changed in: what-is-python (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1868991 Title: [MIR] what-is-python To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/what-is-python/+bug/1868991/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
