sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor/

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: network-manager
  
  I used a clean install of Ubuntu 6.06.1 on a Dell Inspiron 6000.
- During install - The computer was not attached to the internet (Wireless 
Encrypted - Wired Not Plugged in)
- After install Wired Network Cable attached.
- I installed all available updates through the Synaptic Package Manager.
  I went to add/remove programs - Selected Network Manager which downloaded and 
installed five files.
  I restarted the PC.
  
  After Logon user is presented with the following error:
  "The NetworkManager applet could not find some required resources. It cannot 
continue."
  
- When using a clean install of Ubuntu 6.06.1 on the same Dell Inspiron 6000.
- With the computer attached to the internet (Wireless Still Encypted - Wired 
plugged into Netgear DG834 ADSL Router.
- 
- Performed the same actions as above - Network Manager installed
- correctly.
