@dabfus: yes, because I did it a reboot after I installed the upgrades but the screen remains completely black. So I restarted with "Alt + Stamp + B", then "Advanced Option for Ubuntu" and finally "Ubuntu, with Linux *.*.*-*-generic (recovery mode)". In the next "Recovery Menu" I choose "Resume Normal Boot" (which gave me the possibility to save all my files!).
