Since updating from a 20.04 version a month ago, to the one that is now current, I can't boot anymore. When booting, the splashscreen is shown shortly, before turning to black, and my monitor shows 'no input'. When removing nvidia-driver-440 and rebooting, I can boot into Ubuntu without issues.
I have a GTX 1070, AMD 3600 CPU, 32GB ECC Ram. Reinstalling nvidia-driver-440 immediately causes failure to boot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1867361 Title: Nvidia graphics fail to start on 20.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-440/+bug/1867361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
