Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 19.04, Wayland, Gnome shell, Dash to panel 31

Hello,

Every morning when I resume my computer, the notification panel is full with
notifications about the VPN I use for daily work. The notification are emited
at system resume and VPN connection loss.
It makes my system laggy when I open the notification panel and I miss the
other notifications because they are lost in the stream.

Could you keep only one or two notifications about the connection loss ?
There is also room to improve notification display performance because it seems
to be restricted to the 30 last ones, but my mouse still becomes jerky when the
notification panel is open.
Thanks for your incredible work
