Public bug reported:
Ubiquity diagnostics (from beta Live ISO) say something like "packages
may not be correctly installed and may need reinstalling". Post-
installation reboot (as normal) gives a working system but installation
log files (of course) are gone.
Sorry not to be more specific. May try a repeat installation in a few
days time.
