Public bug reported:
update-grub cannot run on a live session. When a user installs a package
in a live session, installation is successful but it ends with the
following message:
[...]
Refreshing boot menu
INFO Updating GRUB menu
ERROR "update-grub" returned an error: exit status 1
We should detect the type of session and not run update-grub if it is a live
session.
