Public bug reported:
I just upgraded to 20.04 beta.
For one of my user accounts, the Dock shows up blank (see 1 in the attached
image). The Dock then seems to be laggy.
These are the strange things that I see when taking 3 screenshots
(labeled in the attached .png):
0. Boot the machine and log on.
1. The Dock is empty and clicking on the "Show Applications" icon does nothing.
2. After taking the screenshot showing (1), the icons in the Dock appear but
the screenshot application icon is missing.
3. After taking a second screenshot we see the screenshot application icon.
4. (not depicted in the PNG) After closing the screenshot application, that
icon lags in the application bar for a while.
5. The "Show Applications" icon now works.
The Dock is also set on autohide and will not appear unless a window is
moved out of the way. I'm not sure if this is related. Will file another
report for that problem.
