Also seeing this problem on a Microsoft Surface Go running Linux Mint 19,3 Mate. Even with the MS Surface keyboard for this model, the touchpad and every key (that I have tried so far) is ignored, EXCEPT for the function and cap lock keys. It does not work, either, if I use a wireless keyboard that connects via RF USB dongle (through a USB dock connected to the USB C port).
