I'm not really sure what has happened here? If it's actually a packaging
issue or some corruption somewhere.
Did you try reinstalling the package? And 1.6.3 was just released, did
this upgrade cleanly ?
For now I'll mark this bug as incomplete until there is more information
(whether 1.6.3 works OK or not) or more reports of the issue.
