Public bug reported:
Precondition: the desktop is set to span 2 displays (or maybe more but I
only have 2 displays).
When the activities overview is invoked (e.g., after pressing the
'windows' key), the area where you see window thumbnails and search
results is too short on the primary display. It is OK on the secondary
display.
The bug occurs if:
- Display mode is "Join Displays"
- The physical display setup has the primary display under the secondary
display. As per the settings/display application, assuming display 1 is
set to be the primary display, the bug will occur with the following
physical display setup:
2
1 <-- (primary is display 1 and it's the one at the bottom)
It doesn't matter which of the two displays is set to be the primary
display. If display number 2 is set to be the primary one, and the
physical display setup is like this:
1
2 <-- (primary is display 2 and it's the one at the bottom)
then the bug also occurs.
The bug doesn't occur in other physical display setups (e.g., side by
side, or the primary on top).
The bug doesn't occur when the display mode is "Mirror" or "Single
Display".
