Thanks Dirk, a new report would probably better to avoid confusion. Can you see the content of that same mount doing $ smbclient //192.168.178.1/sharename ? if it fails could you add --debuglevel=10 and attach the log to the report? (and ideally reporting upstream gvfs would make sense)
