Public bug reported:
Hi,
iLok Manager works perfectly in 19.10 with wine 4.02 while works only partially
in 20.04
The problem is that iLok doesn't connect to their server, to perform checking
of the local licenses.
It complains that a required component doesn't start during the initial process.
A subsequent call to the license manager can see the previously stored license
information but is not able to unregister/register any license to the host.
This is a serious bug for me and for other people using professional licensed
music software on ubuntu studio. And it was working perfectly in 19.10, reason
for which I've bought several hundreds euros of licenses.
I offer myself to conduct any debug activity needed if guided. The software
itself can be freely downloaded from ilok.com
Please help me.
Fabrizio
