IMHO it is hard to decide. The problem remains: the chromium processes are lurking in the background and there is no control any more. As I stated in my report there is probably still the system tray icon however there is no control together with this icon. Also the system tray concept is a mess and hardly supported. For instance I use xfce where absolutely no icon of chromium remains while in gnome it appears. Further when chromium is backgrounded and I restart the system chromium is killed the hard way but this might be another issue then...
