@arighi I'm testing your kernel on an affected dell xps 13 9300, and it looks like there are momentary hangs but no crashing any more with your patches.
In dmesg just after a hang, I see: [ 338.955106] i915 0000:00:02.0: GPU HANG: ecode 11:1:0xfffffffe, in Xorg [1315], hang on rcs0 [ 338.956204] i915 0000:00:02.0: Resetting rcs0 for hang on rcs0 ...and then things resume. In 5.3.0-46 without your patches, this would have crashed my session.
