I still can't find inkscape-common in that website. Also, in that website it just links to the official package that is in the repository that you could already grab with a simple `apt install inkscape`, so I don't understand what are you doing…
Anyhow, installing packages from unofficial sources is not supported and clearly I won't give support in this bug tracker; you might try in some user support forum. That said, I reckon you should just `apt purge inkscape-common && apt install inkscape` and it should just work, provided you don't have some third party repository that might mess with it. ** Changed in: inkscape (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1874603 Title: package inkscape (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/application-registry/inkscape.applications', which is also in package inkscape-common 0.42-0.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/inkscape/+bug/1874603/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
