@Cruz Fernandez In my laptop the 'headset' mode makes the headset totally unavailable, both the speaker and mic. The 'headphone' mode is okay with headset speaker and laptop internal mic.
And I do think that there should be the same POPUP-DIALOG for user to choose in KDE and Xfce4 environment. It's inconvenient without it if 'headset' mode is actually unusable for user. Without it the user have to dig-in deep to PulseAudio Panel and find out the key setting of 'internal mic'. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1873384 Title: [Dell Inspiron 5577] Headphone has no sound out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1873384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
