While https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plymouth/+bug/1873587 also happens, I'm not that interested in it. I get screen flicker during normal operation like watching video or opening a program. That is more important than some flickers during startup for me since screen flickers during startup while annoying, don't stop me from using my laptop. The cause might be thesame, but the symptoms aren't.
