To resolve; 1) Left Videos installed as default player (still not playing commercial dvd, but no error shown. It picks up the data from the DVD, but will not play it) 2) Removed all MPlayer files (synaptic) 3) Installed VLC (runs good with libdvdcss2 and all code) *I forgot how big VLC is...space-wise... WOW)
