I just upgraded from 19.10 to 20.04.
I am getting email from smart about errors on the nvme ssds.
If I look in the syslog I see for all nvme devices:

nvme nvme0: missing or invalid SUBNQN field.
nvme nvme0: Shutdown timeout set to 8 seconds
but runing smartctl on the device:
