An annoying "feature" of this bug is with application drop down menu's. If selecting (say) File from an app in the LHS the options of this menu drop down in a box on the left side in the RHS. Action expected: Selecting "File" should produce a menu directly under the option. Related to this is a converse effect. With Thunderbird in the RHS, replying to an email causes a reply email dialog to pop up (possibly off-screen) in the scrolled LHS.
