Public bug reported:
Hardy Heron 8.04 Alpha1 LiveCD
- Nautilus 2.20.0
- Trash Applet 2.21.1
When I move a file to the Trash in Nautilus, the file is removed from
its original location. The file never appears in the GNOME Trash, and
the icon never changes to indicate that a file has been added to the
Trash. Trash cannot be emptied, as it is (to all intents and purposes)
'empty'.
However, a directory listing of ~/.Trash indicates that the file has been added
to the Trash:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.Trash$ ls -lA
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 0 2007-12-05 08:14 moveme (copy).txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 0 2007-12-05 08:12 moveme.txt
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.Trash$
