Kernel devices appear again only after i force reload alsa.

May 18 21:04:30 sidpc sudo[104738]: siddahuja : TTY=pts/0 ; PWD=/home/siddahuja
; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/sbin/alsa force-reload
May 18 21:04:30 sidpc sudo[104738]: pam_unix(sudo:session): session opened for
user root by (uid=0)

Even then the problem is not resolved. So i kill pulseaudio and start it
again and still nothing. THis behavior is random as audi goes out
sometimes within 5 minutes and comes back again instantly, and sometimes
it takes more than 10 minutes for audio to come back on. There is always
a single pop sound right before it goes out and double pop when it comes
back on. Even when the audio is gone, if i increase the volume of the
speakers, i can hear crackling sounds in sync with the audio that is
playing. I have tried disabling the power save options in alsa and set
tsched=0 in sda_udev, still nothing.
