Binary package hint: network-manager
When network-manager is being upgraded, it shuts down all network
connections without warning. There needs to be either a prominent
warning that the upgrade action will temporarily disable network
connections (with a way to back out), or behavior similar to firefox
where the package is updated (without interruption) but the user is
warned that he/she must close and reopen the application for the upgrade
to take effect.
