Hi! In Ubuntu 20.04 version of gnome-flashback, deleting desktop files
permanently is not implemented. This functionality is added only in
development branch (20.10). So there is no Shift+Delete shortcut, only
normal Delete for moving files to trash.

All files that you deleted from desktop should end up in trash. Can you
please check that?
