It also affects me on bad way.
There are no way to setup External​Protocol​Dialog​Show​Always​Open​Checkbox 
enteprise policy within ubuntu chromium now.
Initially I spent a month trying to deal with bug 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1776873 (ended with manually building 
snap for whole organization, I don't think it's long term solution).
Now I stuck with ""Always open these types of links in the associated app" 
checkbox is not displayed" issue which could be fixed ONLY via enterprise 
policies.

So with transition chromium to snap I got two critical bugs withing
integration of chromium and desktop application. It's two too many.
