It also affects me on bad way. There are no way to setup ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox enteprise policy within ubuntu chromium now. Initially I spent a month trying to deal with bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1776873 (ended with manually building snap for whole organization, I don't think it's long term solution). Now I stuck with ""Always open these types of links in the associated app" checkbox is not displayed" issue which could be fixed ONLY via enterprise policies.
So with transition chromium to snap I got two critical bugs withing integration of chromium and desktop application. It's two too many. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1866732 Title: [snap] Unable to add policies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1866732/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
