Update on this issue. Ubuntu LTS 20.04 has this touchpad problem, and uses xinput version: xinput version 1.6.3 XI version on server: 2.3
However, Kunbuntu 19.10 does not have this touchpad problem, but uses same xinput version: xinput version 1.6.3 XI version on server: 2.3 This may not be solely an xinput bug, should I report this elsewhere?
