Public bug reported:

Hi,

I just used a notebook with Lubuntu 20.04 to show videos on the external
HDMI (second screen) as a feed for a video production.

Lubuntu caused damage and destroyed video recordings because every one
or two hours that damned 'updates available' requester appeared, and it
appeared on the external screen (=video feed).

Formerly, such nonsense and malfunction was known from Microsoft Windows
only.

Who designs such a broken software that arbitrarily destroys the video
output and shows overlay widgets while in production?

No obvious way to kill this damned thing and proceed with production.

This renders ubuntu/lubuntu unusable for professional use.

     Importance: Undecided
