Public bug reported: Dear Ubuntu developers,
if one does not want to use dbconfig to handle the MySQL database and would rather like to execute the command /usr/share/bacula- director/make_mysql_tables this is no longer possible due to the patch unescape-mysql-syntax being applied. Is that patch really needed for dbconfig to work? Otherwise it should be dropped, so that manual execution of the command works again. Thanks in advance! As far as I can tell all currently supported Ubuntu versions are affected by this patch and issue.
