I've just verified with maybe 0.4.0-6 on Ubuntu Groovy, and that version does indeed have an explicit dependency on python3-pkg-resources as mentioned in the Debian bug report. I'm therefore marking this fixed.
If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please take a look at the SRU Procedure [1]. I can try to help out by providing patches (though there is also a switch from the python- to python3- version of the package in the mix) [1]: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure ** Changed in: maybe (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1849991 Title: Missing dependency : python-pkg-resources To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maybe/+bug/1849991/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
