I tried to remove the /etc/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service symbolic link to /dev/null by following this post [1]
After that it's complaining the service was not found: $ sudo systemctl start systemd-timesyncd Failed to start systemd-timesyncd.service: Unit systemd-timesyncd.service not found. Hmm...
