Public bug reported:
Trying to boot the Ubuntu 7.10 64bit Live CD on Asus S96S fails:
It first gives an message that it cannot start the video drivers properly.
Then i click "Continue" and then it shows
*Checking battery state... [OK]
* Running local boot scripts (/etc/rc.local) [OK]
And nothing else happens!!!!
