Public bug reported: applications launched with icedtea hang when transitioning from the initial (login) screen to the playing screen. Other platforms using the same JWS code do not have this misbehavior.
See http://boardspace.net/java/boardspace7.jnlp at the initial (login) screen, check the "login as guest" box and hit "login". Nothing will happen. Now hit the "x" box to close the window, and the app will launch normally.
