This bug also affects me -but it might be a separate bug? I have a HP Color Laser Jet PRO MFP M281fdw. After upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 LTS to 20.04 LTS the printer is not responding, scanning cannot start. I have tried with HPLIP ver.3.20.5 from HP. The installation stops after this section
