Hi Arthur, good news - there are currently Bionic and Xenial AMIs with the fix! I've tried the following AMIs, and they have the fix:
ubuntu/images/hvm-ssd/ubuntu-bionic-18.04-amd64-server-20200610 - ami-025201fa53cf4d031 ubuntu/images/hvm-ssd/ubuntu-xenial-16.04-amd64-server-20200610 - ami-0a0ddd875a1ea2c7f Note that the first one (Ubuntu 18.04) includes kernel 5.3, which contains the fix. Let me know if you have more questions, and thanks again for the report!
