Binary package hint: quake3-data
OK, someone wants to build a real Quake3 package for Ubuntu. But there
is none.
At the moment there is a installer from ID on a lazy server and you need
the CD with the 400MB data. Both is used by the buggy Ubuntu package
"quake3-data". The installation did not finish after downloading the
pointrelease from ID. I had to start it manually. It works. OK, but then
comes the big problem: I do not hear anything. Where is the sound?
