Sometimes, we install Ubuntu/Linux Mint and at the end of the installation, we look the SMART data in Disks, to be sure that all is OK. But then, it's too late if there are bad sectors, we made the installation for nothing (see screenshot).
Could you show the SMART data, like in Disks, at the beginning of the installation, in Ubuquity or in GParted, for each device ? ** Attachment added: "SMART ubiquity gparted" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/373932/+attachment/5386078/+files/85230375-d62c3b00-b3ef-11ea-968b-2bf420a2a8f3.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/373932 Title: installer's partition manager should show more information to differentiate between drives To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/373932/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
